First pictable solo tour a success…
12.29.08
After 3333 miles, 8 states, 12 tunnels, 19 canvases, 7 presentations and a huge jar of salted chunky peanut butter, the 2008 Nativitas pictable Tour is over. It was an awesome experience to travel and share the pictable ministry with even more people. The response was great and the Nativitas presentation keep getting tighter and better. Thanks again to all who brought me out to share my two greatest passions–God and art. It was a privilege and a blessing. Here's to next time!
Add another to the list…
11.20.08
I got the opportunity to paint in Virginia today. I love to share the pictable to new people and in new places. It's great to see it in their eyes when they "see" it and the excitement and connection that follows. That makes 14 states I have visited and I would love to go to more. Things are definitely changing in regards to whatthe future holds. More to come…
Tis the season…
10.28.08
…to hit the road. I will be taking the pictable out on its first solo tour this coming December to share some Christmas themed concepts and the brand new pictable service titled Nativitas. I will be heading out east. I am currently in the booking stages to schedule churches, schools, and whomever else would like to experience a pictable. If you would like more info and to see the schedule, go here.
A renewal stirring of the heart...
8.26.08
The last few months has seen the stirring of my heart. From the depths of my
inner being comes a movement that can only come from above. There is something on the horizon but I don't know what it is or when it will materialize. It is exciting! Maybe it will involve you. Our paths may cross through an encounter of a pictable. I have enjoyed every single time that I have had the opportunity to create in front of others. It is exhilarating. I love to share it with others. Do you want to experience the pictable?
Pushing forward into something...
6.23.08
It's time to pick up the reigns and spread the love of art around. The pictable has rested and now is coming back to tell stories through messy paintings. The messier the better. If you are here looking for info, let me welcome you. This is the virtual domain of the pictable. Wander around and see for yourself what this is all about. That is what you are asking? What is this pictable thing? This site is aimed at answering some of your questions. Other questions can be answered by contacting us here. The best way to experience the pictable is firsthand. Seeing is believing.
A little backstory…
10.31.07
In the fall of 2003, the door opened up for the beginning of the pictable. Through my friend and old youth minister Charles, I was given the opportunity to paint live in front of thousands of youth and adults at a youth conference in Illinois. To say that it has been a little crazy with a touch of wacky on this roller coaster ride, that would be a failure to communicate the simple truth. My life has changed and will never be the same.
The last 4 years has produced lots of new experiences, friends, and opportunities. I have traveled from one side of this country to the other. The map below is an approximation of most of the places that I have been (I didn't pt on there the multiple times I painted at the same place or event.)

It's crazy! 13 states down and 37 to go. Hint! Hint! And I have now been to Romania three times. 1 international country down and... I would love to take the pictable to many more places.
I have truly been blessed to travel and share the pictable to thousands of people (last count was somewhere around 30K to 40K). Every new horizon that I have gazed upon has brought new opportunities to paint somewhere else and in front of new people. I love it!
Now that the dust has somewhat settled and I have had a chance to sort of catch my breath, I am looking to expand the pictable into more areas. When this all began, the pictable was a ministry that was presented in churches and religious events. Then I was able to get into some schools and share the pictable in an education manner and that was very well received. Then there were the concerts that were full of lots of ear deafening performance art. So I have already been exposed to these other areas, or exposed these other areas to the pictable. It is just logical to push into these areas. And I have sold my work via the net and have been commissioned many times as well. This is the next step as well.
To put it simply, the pictable is expanding and looks to take off and reach into whatever venues that I can get into. Stay tuned for more...
